I received this formula via email from a much loved friends Dad today.
It made me smile and I thought you may enjoy it too.

How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life? Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:"

Museum illusions...

What is it that they're looking at?
It's an enlarged image of a photograph that I took of a collapsed spider web in the corner of a room.



This is an image of the photo that I use for my profile.



The heart shape is a stone that I found in the red dirt during a visit to the Northern Territory.













This image is from a photo that I took of the bark of a beautiful old gum tree during a visit to an inner city park. When I look at it, I see a face.





Yep, even my Super Hero made it into the Museum!

So how did I get these works into the Museum?

It was easy and I got the idea when visiting Poetikats Invisible Keepsakes from the current image that she has at the top of her sidebar.

In the pursuit of desire.....

In recent days I've been blog hopping and searching all in the name of desire. I've been trying to write about the need for desire and to share a recent experience. I also wanted to talk about the generosity of two wise blokes.......... Genpo Roshi and Bill Harris, who facilitate the Big Mind/Big Heart seminars.

The Big Mind, Big Heart process is a combination of western psychology and traditional Zen.

The never ending To Do List!
Recently I became aware that I'd created myself a never ending To Do List.
I once visited an exhibition of "Lists". It was truly entertaining reading other peoples lists and it also held a beauty all of its own. Anyway that's another story and maybe just a dream.

So how have I created my never ending To Do List? Simply by not writing lists. I'm not sure why I stopped writing lists. I've noticed that a lot of bloggers post lists. A lot of these lists are admired and are admirable.


When you write a To Do list it generally feels achievable.



To Do lists can be as short as daily achievements or at length a week or so. Generally nothing beyond what you want to achieve in a short space of time. You can cross off what you've done and be left with a clear view of what you need to do.



I'm aware that some peoples lists just add unnecessary stress. They write lists of things to do in a time frame that isn't achievable and sets up a sense of failure.



That's definitely not the type of list I'm looking to create.



When you stop writing lists you don't stop having things to do you simply carry it all in your mind in no particular order. There seems to be no end to what you can add to your list and no clear view of what you can cross off your list.



I favour spontaneity over routine, but I'm not a big fan of chaos.



Do you write lists or do you know exactly what you need to do without putting pen to paper?

My Hero

for help in regards to creating my very own
Super Hero.






With the use of one word (firefox) it all began to fall into place for me why I wasn't able to do what so many others were doing.......... creating their own Super Heroes.

I wanna be a Super Hero!

Recently I became aware of a website where you can create your very own comic style Super Heroes. If you are a blog hopper you most likely have come across some of these heroes. That's how I was introduced to www.cpbintegrated.com/theherofactory
It's loads of simple fun and well worth the visit, but unfortunately for me......... after I had created my ideal Super Hero I was unable to save the image so that I could post it for all to see and enjoy.

This really frustrated me! Over and over again I tried to work out how I could save the image to be able to use it here today.
Actually I very quickly became obsessed to achieve the results that I wanted, but to no avail. Do you ever experience times when you struggle to let go of something of little or no importance that you want to achieve?
Even though I've been unable to upload the image of my Super Hero it can be done. This knowledge fuelled my obsession for uninterupted hours and eventually into my dreams.
I woke this morning with one more option to explore.......... buggar that didn't work either!

So no image of my super hero to be shared, but here's another super heroe to give you an idication of the fun that is available to you and the source of my late night frustration.
