there is no environment.....

"There is no environment,
it's all a single system

You do something to the air,
you do it to yourself.

You do something to the water,
you're 60% water"

Hello, Robyn! I come here after reading about radiation leaking into the ocean, feeling so disheartened and almost defeated. And then I see this and feel hope again. Thank you.

Beautiful pictures from your trip, too! Wow, how lush and gorgeous!

Hope you are enjoying a fine weekend!

Robin thanks for reminding us over and over again by posting these videos on your blog.
I hope, as a collective, we change the way we interact with our sacred planet....EARTH.

No longer can we afford to be ignorant of the impact of our lifestyle choices.

He has had a great influence on people for the good. I'm rather envious of his house and setting, though- imagine it would be easier to have time to ponder the rest of the universe in such a place!

I was recently getting into David Suzuki's latest small book and the Library due date for return came up ... such wonderful bed time reading!
He is a potent reminder to us of a message that really matters.
thank you Robyn,

ps if time permits and it holds any appeal Robun I found and posted at homage blog a website interactive that gives you an amazing visual from the impossibly minute world of Microcosm to the infinitissimal (how do you spell that?) macrocosm.
Its made me feel happy and deeply amazed...it was something!

thanks so much for stopping by and your lovely words. I have listened to the video and it's both scarey yet important to heed these words, particularly whilst the world/planet seems to be reacting violently. Thanks for sharing.

It just makes so much sense...common sense doesn't it?

Yay for Rachel Carson! Her book had an effect on me too when I read it. Her and James Lovelock - they've been trying to tell us for years.

But hey - like the man said, in the sixties we didn't have 'environmental science' and now everyone knows about it. So we are making progress. There is hope.

that's really mind-opening - there is no environment, it's all single system.

we all know this, but somehow hearing it this way makes a fundamental impact.

as bella sinclair says, just read about the radiation leaking into the ocean from the japanese nuclear plant. i wonder how masaru emoto's work would approach this disaster.

It's pouring buckets here tonight. The wind is howling and has all day. 10 days ago, we had a tornado about 6 miles from our home. We had no damage, but it was truly amazing. Western Pennsylvania almost never has anything like tornadoes.I wonder what all these oddities in the weather are saying? I had a dream about you the other night. We were sitting and talking about how it is becoming Fall in your home while Spring is attempting to begin here. It's still cold, and not very inspiring. But, in my dream, I remember that you and I clasped hands and smiled at each other and that made me feel calm and loved.
