Joy is the perfect word to describe how it all feels sometimes.
The school holidays have come to an end, but not before a hell of a lot of fun.
My painting angel has returned and I'm painting like a mad dog on a mission.
Painting is currently consuming my time as I work my way through a myriad of emotions that are stirred with the use of paint.
I haven't forgotten you.

Good that you've found your muse, I've always wanted to paint. One of these days, for now, I paint with words. Love the photos as always. I'm sure I have a similar little clay portrait that Clare did years ago...using hair out of my brush of all things. Gruesome, a little but much loved just the same.

p.s. these fotos bring back deep memories of when i was a child - and the sheer happiness of sinking my fingers into paint and the feel of wax paper....don't you still feel that way when you are painting?
