up down and around... nothing but birds

I've been having loads of fun with my, new to me, camera and I am very grateful to have you to share photos with.  Thank you for all your kinds words and encouragement on my previous posts.

Recently I've been indulging in my passion for birds and snapping happily whenever I can, in and around where I live, as they are such willing subjects.

I have enjoyed catching up with some of you at your blogs and will endeavour to catch up on more in coming weeks. 

I hope wherever you are in the world that you too are enjoying the change in seasons, as I am.

Spring sightings...

I have had loads of fun capturing the above images, to share with you, on my new camera.  A very dear childhood friend recently upgraded her camera and generously passed her old one onto me.  Just call me lucky xx

 PS... it's not officially Spring, I know, but if you were here with me now you could be forgiven for believing it so.

down south...

We managed to get down south of Perth again earlier this year and we're hoping to get back there again very soon. There's nothing quite like spending time in a semi rural environment alongside the sea. 

In recent months I've been busy with securing a new home....  which we have managed to do and we are very happy with it all.  I've also been concentrating on improving my health, which is also going in a desirable direction.
